Privacy Policy – Abledragon Marketing-Owned Websites

Thank you for visiting our website. Please read this Privacy Notice before using our website or submitting any personal data.

This Privacy Notice sets out the data processing practices carried out on all websites owned by Abledragon Marketing Limited, through use of the Internet and any other electronic communications networks. Abledragon Marketing Limited is registered in Hong Kong (registration number 58128305-000-03-12-1) and trades as ‘Abledragon’.

The data controller collecting the personal data described herein is Abledragon Marketing Limited.

If you have any requests concerning your personal data or any queries with regard to these practices please click here to contact us.

Our websites may contain links to other third party websites which are outside our control and are not covered by this Privacy Notice. If you access other sites using the links provided, the operators of these sites may collect information from you which will be used by them in accordance with their privacy policy, which may differ from ours. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of third party websites.

Data Collection and Intended Use

On Abledragon Marketing Limited websites we may collect two (2) types of data about website visitors:

  1. Active data (such as name, telephone number, e-mail address, etc.) when voluntarily submitted by visitors for registration, newsletter signup, etc.
  2. Passive data (such as browser type, IP address, page reference, date and time of visit, etc.)

When visitors leave comments on one of our websites we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you upload images to one of our websites, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on websites.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on one of our websites (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

The IP address of visitors, user ID of logged in users, and username of login attempts are conditionally logged to check for malicious activity and to protect the site from specific kinds of attacks. Examples of conditions when logging occurs include login attempts, log out requests, requests for suspicious URLs, changes to site content, and password updates. This information is retained for 60 days.

The personal data submitted by you are used only for the express purposes stated at the location where you provide it, i.e., in order to receive press releases, newsletters or other Opt-In purposes. We do not use personally identifiable data for direct marketing or unsolicited follow-up unless you have given us your express permission for such use (confirmed opt-In).
