Ongoing site technical support, maintenance and updates

In addition to designing and building your site, and subject to a separate agreement, I offer an ongoing site maintenance, software upgrading and technical support service. As part of this I will:

  • At a minimum, create weekly backups of your entire site, and daily database backups if your site is updated frequently
  • Create full site backups before and after making any changes to site structure
  • Fully restore your site within 24 hours if it’s hacked or otherwise damaged. (Despite the extra security I build in, no one can ever guarantee your site won’t be hacked).
  • Check the admin area of your site each day and carry out all updates of WordPress core code and plugins (supplementary applications), as well as any other maintenance jobs that are necessary
  • Monitor the search engines’ view of your site on a daily basis and deal with any problems that arise.
  • Monitor the front end of your site on a daily basis, ensuring that it’s running smoothly and quickly at all times. I will deal with any problems that arise
  • Set up and manage your company’s email accounts
